Obama Neglects to Tell UK about Bermuda-Bound Uighurs

Welcome, valued terrorists guests!

With friends like Obama, who needs enemies?

The United Kingdom — America’s closest ally in the world –  is a bit peeved, to put it mildly, that the United States shipped four Uighur terrorists from Guantanamo Bay to the British territory of Bermuda without telling the UK.  (Source.)

The US didn’t want any complications in the transfer of the al-Qaeda-trained terrorist detainees, so they didn’t inform the United Kingdom about the transfer until after it was completed.

Inexplicably, Bermuda seem to be welcoming the Uighurs with oddly open arms.  The photo above is ridiculously cordial looking, and the four have been issued guest worker permits.

Not all Bermudans are as overjoyed as the government puppets in the picture — the United Bermuda Party has moved for a motion of no confidence against the government for the terrorist admission.  (Source.)

Obama to Pay Palau $200 Million to take 17 Gitmo Thugs

With friends like Obama, who needs enemies?

Ofail’s Gitmo Geniuses have announced a plan to pay the tropical island paradise nation of Palau — also, by the way, a popular worldwide tourist destination — $200 million in taxpayer dollars in exchange for Palau agreeing to accept 17 Uighur terrorists from the Cuban detention base.

The Al-Qaeda-trained terrorists will be sent to a tourist island so that they can get the cash — nearly $12 mil per fanatic jihadist –  and so that the US won’t back out of a treaty which guarantees their protection.  (Source.)

It’s Deja Vu All Over Again for Obama

Ofail is finally starting to clarify what he wants to do with Guantanamo Bay.  And, it’s weird, but as I listen to his plan, I feel like I’ve heard it all before.

Let’s recap…  Here’s what Oflipflip said yesterday that he wants to do with the terrorists now in Gitmo:

  • Whenever possible, ship them off to other countries to deal with
  • When possible, try them in the existing Federal courts
  • If that’s not possible, use existing military tribunals to try them
  • When ordered by the courts, release them
  • And if someone’s a serious risk, hold them indefinitely without trial

Ok, now rewind three years, and let’s take a look at what President Bush told us his plans were:

  • Whenever possible, ship them off to other countries to deal with
  • When possible, try them in the existing Federal courts
  • If that’s not possible, use existing military tribunals to try them
  • And if someone’s a serious risk, hold them indefinitely without trial

Note that the ONLY DIFFERENCE is that Ofail wants to let some of these terrorists go.  I guess it wasn’t enough for him to exactly copy what President Bush already laid out; he had to inject at least one bit of idiocy into it…  Unbelievable.

Senate Deals Obama a 90-6 Gitmo Slap-down

As Ofail flipflops on closing Guantanamo Bay, the Senate was unambiguous in their message to him — NO WAY.  Ofail hasn’t got a clue how to be bipartisan, but the Senate definitely understood the word when they voted 90 to 6 to yank the funding for closing Gitmo because, well, Ofail has YET to articulate any sort of plan for how to do it.

Even his paid mouthpiece, press secretary Gibbs said that the original announcement about closing Guntanamo was a “hasty decision”.

Except for, well, you know, move all the prisoners INTO THE UNITED STATES and then eventually release most of them.

Of course, the word that 1 out of 7 already released prisoners has RETURNED TO TERROISM doesn’t seem to phase Ofail at all…  It’s just more Americans that will die in the next 9/11, that’s all.  Could he make it any easier for them?
