In the middle of his 75 minute commercial for infanticide delivered at the formerly Catholic Notre Dame, Obortion took a few minutes to plug the Muslim religion:

“For if there is one law that we can be most certain of, it is the law that binds people of all faiths and no faith together. It is no coincidence that it exists in Christianity and Judaism; in Islam and Hinduism; in Buddhism and humanism. It is, of course, the golden rule – the call to treat one another as we wish to be treated. The call to love.”

Of course, this is a pretty big stretch.  As I recall it, Christians are told to love one another as I have loved you.  We’re instructed to love our neighbors, where “our neighbors” are any people we meet in our lives.  Muslims, on the other hand, has nuggets such as this in the Koran:  “Muhammad is the messenger of Allah. And those with him are hard against the disbelievers and merciful among themselves.”  Not exactly loving.

But we know where Ofail stands.  Recall that he has, in the past, faithfully recited the shahada — the Muslim prayer of commitment to Islam — which is a prayer that simply reciting makes you Muslim.  His path is stealthy, but his goals are clear.  Beware.

As expected, Obortion was met by a huge contingent of protesters lining the streets as he arrived at Notre Dame to deliver the commencement address, despite calls from concerned Catholics around the world — not the least of which being the Pope and 77 of his bishops — that he not embarrass the church by attending.

But in the end, it was pretty predictable.  Ofail tried to soft pedal the core issue at hand — KILLING INNOCENT BABIES — by saying hey, we can all get along, we can agree to disagree, right?  Let’s all be open minded about this.  He called for  “fair-minded words” in the discussion about abortion.  I wonder what “fair-minded words” he would have encouraged if he were speaking about slavery.

At least the students and attendees at the commencement made sure to keep Obortion on his toes with their calls out to him.  Here’s a video from YouTube of some of the interruptions he faced:

The University of Notre Dame is expecting 20,000 Pro-Life protesters to be on and around campus when Obortion comes to speak at their commencement tomorrow.

The so-called Catholic university, which will be giving decrees to 2,900 seniors, is battening down for the hurricane of protesters who are assembling to call attention to the blatant hypocrisy of inviting the most radical pro-abortion and pro-infanticide president in history to what is supposedly the most prestigious Catholic university in America.

Never mind that Ofail has already signed several pieces of pro-abortion legislation in his first 100 days.  Never mind that he’s signed legislation to kill embryos for research.  For this “Catholic” university, apparently the glamour of having a president speak outweighs the horrors of his record, his convictions and his utter disdain for the sanctity of human life.
