In his apology speech to the Muslim world this morning, Barack Hussein Obama, who now brags about freely admits that his family is Muslim, talked about the huge role Islam has played in the history of our country.  Huge.  Really.  Here’s a quote from Ofail’s address:

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote, The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims. And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Quran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library.

Wow, you’re right.  Let’s see: a Muslim country recognized our existence, which I guess is noble considering Iran refusing to recognize Israel’s right to exist.  And after 200 years, in this powerful, largely Muslim nation, we finally elected our one and only Muslim to Congress.  One, in two hundred plus years.  So yeah, Muslims have been a HUGE part of the US history.

Wait, don’t forget this one:  on 9/11/2009 they launched an attack on our nation, on our soil, taking the lives of over 3,000 innocent people.  Muslims are part of our history that way too.

This comes after his interview where he talked about America is now a global Muslim powerhouse.

While in Europe for D-Day ceremonies next month, Ofail is planning at stop in Dresden, Germany.  Germans have a unique perspective on the city — for them, it is the central icon of the suffering inflicted on Germany during the war.  The Allies basically bombed the crap out of Dresden in their bid to rid the world of the evils of the Nazis.  Sorry about that, but it had to be done.  These things happen during war.

Well, Ofail certainly won’t miss an opportunity to Opologize to the Germans for the “war crimes” committed by the Americans.  The official word is that he will “recognize German suffering”, which clearly is liberal codespeak for “bend over backwards showing how terrible America is and how sorry we are for making the world safe”.

The constant apologizing is bullshit.  America has done more for the world and continues to give more to the world in terms of aid, security, moral guidance and freedom than any other country IN HISTORY, past or present.  Quit selling us out, Obama.  Have the fortitude and to be a no-apologies president who is proud of his country.

When Ofail announced during the campaign that if elected (he probably said “when elected”) he would give a speech from a Muslim capital, eyes across the country rolled.

Well, it’s going to happen, and the lucky country that gets to host the next stop on the Global Apology Tour is Egypt.  But there is one curious thing…

He will be giving the speech not from Egyptian People’s Assembly (their parliament) or somewhere that might have a democratic tone to it.  No, he’s going to a more significant location:  the Al Azhar Mosque, which is considered the center of the Arabic world.

Curiously, non-Muslims are typically not permitted in mosques; no non-Muslim has ever given a speech from Al Azhar.  But apparently they’re breaking this rule for Ofail… or are they?

On June 6th, it will be the 65th anniversary of D-Day.

Since our liberal-run schools have failed the young in our country, let me remind you that D-Day is the day over 130,000 brave American soldiers stormed the beaches at Normandy to protect our freedom and assure our liberty.  Over nine thousand of them died that day, and their blood ran red on the sand as their comrades fought on, successfully taking that key northwester French beachhead from the Germans, securing a new Allied front.

In keeping with tradition, Ofail will be attending a commemoration ceremony at the American cemetery near the Normandy waterfront.  However, unlike all past ceremonies, including the 2004 one attended by President George W. Bush, Ofail’s State Department is telling the French government not to allow tours that day.  Obviously, it’s a critical day for tourism in the region, but Ofail wants to shut it down to keep it neat and tidy for the officials in attendance.

I wonder what Ofail will say at the ceremonies?  One has to assume he’ll find a way to apologize for America somehow…

So at the Summit of the Americas, we get to see just how far Ofail’s Global Apology Tour will go to sell out the USA.

In the photo above, he sure seems happy to meet former Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega, unapologetic terrorist leader of the Sandinista National Liberation Front.   Ofail sat quietly through a 50-minute diatribe from fellow socialist Ortega that lashed out at a century of so-called terroristic U.S. aggression in Central America and included a rambling denunciation of the U.S.-imposed isolation of Cuba’s Communist government.  BHO didn’t seem the least bit bothered by any of it…  He’s sat through longer and worse anti-American tirades in Reverend Wright’s church.

But of course the highlight was when he hooked up with the man who’s called the US and it’s leader a donkey, the devil, an asshole, a coward, an assassin, a drunk, a mass murderer:  Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez.  Heck, Hugo even had a gift which Ofail was happy to accept.

Of course, he’s still refusing to meet with the Prime Minister of American ally, Israel…
