In his apology speech to the Muslim world this morning, Barack Hussein Obama, who now brags about freely admits that his family is Muslim, talked about the huge role Islam has played in the history of our country.  Huge.  Really.  Here’s a quote from Ofail’s address:

I know, too, that Islam has always been a part of America’s story. The first nation to recognize my country was Morocco. In signing the Treaty of Tripoli in 1796, our second President John Adams wrote, The United States has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion or tranquility of Muslims. And since our founding, American Muslims have enriched the United States. They have fought in our wars, served in government, stood for civil rights, started businesses, taught at our Universities, excelled in our sports arenas, won Nobel Prizes, built our tallest building, and lit the Olympic Torch. And when the first Muslim-American was recently elected to Congress, he took the oath to defend our Constitution using the same Holy Quran that one of our Founding Fathers – Thomas Jefferson – kept in his personal library.

Wow, you’re right.  Let’s see: a Muslim country recognized our existence, which I guess is noble considering Iran refusing to recognize Israel’s right to exist.  And after 200 years, in this powerful, largely Muslim nation, we finally elected our one and only Muslim to Congress.  One, in two hundred plus years.  So yeah, Muslims have been a HUGE part of the US history.

Wait, don’t forget this one:  on 9/11/2009 they launched an attack on our nation, on our soil, taking the lives of over 3,000 innocent people.  Muslims are part of our history that way too.

This comes after his interview where he talked about America is now a global Muslim powerhouse.

I’ve got this degree now, I’d probably better get my facts straight.  Naaaahhhh!

Huh?  In an interview with Laura Haim on Canal Plus, a French television station, Obama noted that the United States also could be considered as “one of the largest Muslim countries in the world.”

Let’s do some math here.  According to the 2007 Pew Forum on Religion and Public Life, just 0.6% of American’s consider themselves Muslim.  Our population is 306 million, making the Muslim population about 1.8 million.

According to data on Wikipedia (crunched from several sources) that would put America at 59th in terms of pure population.  We fall to about 120th on the list of the world’s countries if you look at Muslims as a percentage of the larger population.

So, how exactly did he come to this conclusion about the US being such a world powerhouse of Islam?  Who knows.  (Unless it has something to do with him finally admitting that his father and grandmother — at a minimum — were, in fact, Muslim.)

God I look good.  I bet they’ll believe whatever I tell them.

When naming a “cyber security czar” last week, Ofail played a bit fast and loose with the facts as he tried to dazzle with his sparkling oratory.  And by “facts”, we mean things he made up that have not a single shred of truth to them.

Ofail lectured:

And this is also a matter of public safety and national security. We count on computer networks to deliver our oil and gas, our power and our water. We rely on them for public transportation and air traffic control. Yet we know that cyber intruders have probed our electrical grid and that in other countries cyber attacks have plunged entire cities into darkness.

Scary stuff.  If only it were true.

Rob Rosenberger at Vmyths.com (a site that, like Snopes.com, clears up common misinformation with a focus on cyberspace) points out that this so-called hacker-induced blackout seems never to have happened.  Or if it did, you would think there might be some evidence somewhere to support it.

Um, are you sure, Obuffoon, that the Constitution was written “more than 20 centuries ago”?  That would be when Christ was not even a teenager and the United States was pre-existance, not just pre-Marxist.

Perhaps he meant to say “more than 200 years ago”.  But that’s just not as FANCY, is it?  You don’t sounds as much SMARTER than everyone in the room when you say it that way.  Except… you would have been accurate.  But that’s not really so important, is it?

I see dead people.

Last year, decorated soldier confused candidate Ofail mixed up Memorial Day and Veterans Day when he said “On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes — and I see many of them in the audience here today — our sense of patriotism is particularly strong.”  (Here’s the YouTube video of it.)

In his weekly  address on Saturday, confused Commander in Chief did it again, using Veterans Day lyrics while trying to sing a Memorial Day song:

These are some of the ways we can, must, and will honor the service of our troops and the sacrifice of their families… That can mean sending a letter or a care package to our troops overseas. It can mean volunteering at a clinic where a wounded warrior is being treated or bringing supplies to a homeless veterans center. Or it can mean something as simple as saying “thank you” to a veteran you pass on the street.

Um, those are all fantastic ideas, and I agree, Americans should do each and every one of those things.  Except, those are all about honoring LIVING VETERANS, not the DEAD we MEMORIALIZE on MEMORIAL Day.  *sigh*

The Spender-in-Chief has reached a new level of incompetence this morning, with the news that the federal stimulus checks have been sent to 8-10,000 DEAD people! That’s millions of dollars thrown away through sheer stupidity…

WTF?!  This is our beloved president, B. Hussein Obama, subserviently BOWING before the King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.  There’s no getting around what he’s doing here — if you have any doubt, check out the video — and the White House’s lame attempts to spin it as bending over to shake hands with the shorter King is just pure bullshit.

American Presidents have NEVER bowed before any foreign leader — doing so is the equivalent of pledging loyalty and allegiance to that sovereign.

Just one more hint about what Ofail is really up to, and who he’s going to try to sell us out to.
