After NBC’s shamelessly getting him to do a plug for the Conan O’Brien takeover of the Tonight Show, Ofail has once again demonstrated that he has plenty of time in between spending our money and planning expensive trips for him and his family.

Now he’s taken the time and resources to tape a plug for Comedy Central’s ultra-left-leaning “The Colbert Report”, in which he orders General Odierno to shave Stephen Colbert’s hair.

Look, I’m all for Colbert being there to entertain the troops, if in fact any of them find his brand of liberal blather amusing.  But our so-called Commander in Chief wasting time on partisan promotional stunts like this just blows my mind.

If you had any doubt that Ofail is a complete and utter socialist beyond reproach, now you have none other thanwhackjob Hugo Chavez calling Obama “Comrade” in a conversation with Fidel Castro.  On live tv, Chavez said:

Hey, Obama has just nationalized nothing more and nothing less than General Motors. Comrade Obama! Fidel, careful or we are going to end up to his right.

In the decade since he took office, Chavez has entered a number of government-private joint ventures — often with the government taking a 60 percent ownership stake — that essentially nationalized many of  Venezuela’s largest companies and economic sectors.

Does that 60% number ring a bell?  That’s the percentage that the US has in GM now…

You remember the “Fight the Smears” website that was put together to help Ofail dupe the nation into electing him, right?  The one were “smears” from concerned citizens were “debunked” with “facts”.

One of those “smears” was the statement that Obama’s father is a Muslim.  Something that, if true, he should be proud to claim, since he’s such a multiculturalist.  But on Fight the Smears, they instead wrote:

“Barack” is the candidate’s Kenyan father’s name; Obama’s middle name, “Hussein,” is his grandfather’s name. Obama has described his father as atheist or agnostic.

But in a blog post from ABC News’s Jake Tapper, Tapper reports:

During a conference call in preparation for President Obama’s trip to Cairo, Egypt, where he will address the Muslim world, deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communications Denis McDonough said “the President himself experienced Islam on three continents before he was able to — or before he’s been able to visit, really, the heart of the Islamic world — you know, growing up in Indonesia, having a Muslim father – obviously Muslim Americans (are) a key part of Illinois and Chicago.”

In the past, the MSM also followed the campaign’s lead and reported that his Kenyan grandmother was a Christian.

Now we find out that his “Christian” grandmother will be making a The Hajj (pilgrimage to Mecca).  The Hajj is the largest annual pilgrimage in the world and called  “the fifth pillar of Islam” making it an obligation for every able-bodied Muslim to do in their life.  However, it’s not exactly something “Christians” bend over backwards to do…
She just might be the first Christian to attend the Hajj in years.

The scandal is snowballing…  Analysis of the closure data when correlated with the political donations of the dealerships and owners shows a CRYSTAL CLEAR relationship between Republican supporters and donors and who got their dealerships axed.

It is so one-sided that you won’t believe it.  The Republican donations of those shut down, all tallied up, come to over $450,000.  The Democratic contributions?  Well, Hillary and John Edwards TOGETHER only accounted for just over $10K, and Obama was donated a grand total of $450.  That’s right, 1/1000 of all the Republican donations.  (Source.)  INSANE CORRUPTION!

It would actually be laughable, were it not for the fact that these are real Americans having their businesses shut down and real Americans losing their jobs.

By the way, have you heard the MSM report on this scandal in the last two days?  Me neither.

Haven’t seen some (or even most) of these before?  Not too surprising.  While it was national sport for the MSM to point out and endlessly replay everytime President GW Bush made a verbal gaffe, the media now has suddenly discovered “Respect for the Office” and an understanding that we’re all human.

Well, except for the unborn, of course.

Honoring Dead Soldiers Gets About 1/10 the Bow That the Saudi King Does

In Ofail’s weekly address lecture to the nation, we already mentioned that he seemed confused about the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day.

But there was another, more significant moment of “did he really just say that?!”  One that, once again, reveals the hypocrisy and arrogance of this man who thinks that just saying something makes it true, and inconvenient facts don’t matter.

The latest gaffe was with regards to the safety of our troops who are bravely fighting for our freedom in the War of Terror.  Ofail said “That is why I will send our servicemen and women into harm’s way only when it is necessary, and ensure that they have the training and equipment they need when they enter the theater of war.”

That sounds really nice.  Just fantastic, thank you.  Unfortunately, it’s a complete lie.

In the current Afghanistan surge (wonder where he got that “surge” idea, anyway) we are sending 20,000 American young men and women into harm’s way WITHOUT the proper equipment.  Just last week, the Secretary of Defense said “I heard this on several occasions today, that the equipment is coming in behind the troops and is not here and available for them when they arrive.”

It’s not just the body armor they are lacking.  Some of the Marines that Secretary Gates met with said they didn’t have critical communications equipment, while others were concerned about the lack of armor on their vehicles.  I seem to remember Secretary Rumsfeld had a similar issue, the MSM was in an uproar for weeks, with multiple calls for his resignation.  Now we have the same situation — and the president blatantly lying about it — and you could hear a pin drop.

With the recent opening of the latest Star Trek movie, a lot of left-leaning ink has been spilled comparing Ofail to Spock…

Bleeding heart Maureen Dowd noted that “Mr. Obama has a bit of Mr. Spock in him (and not just the funny ears). He has a Vulcan-like logic and detachment.” Newsweek’s Steve Daly said “Spock’s cool, analytical nature feels more fascinating and topical than ever now that we’ve put a sort of Vulcan in the White House,” and noted the similarity between Spock and Obama both being the product of mixed-race marriages.

I hate seeing the classy Spock taken down through these silly comparisons.  I think it’s excpetionally obvious that if Ofail resembles any character from the Star Trek universe, it’s the Tribbles: cute, fluffy, and royally fucks up whatever he touches.
